7. Studio Course designed this balcony lounge like a traditional courtyard, complete with a raised platform round a ‘tree’ (replaced by tall potted plants here). The greenery, the slatted roof of natural wood and extensive use of rough stone give a rustic feel to this space, and should not be too difficult to fashion in an urban balcony or terrace. The modest but adequate light adds to the sense of a woodland retreat.Take a tour of this Pune home
