TWO STATES

We got opportunity to design two flats at different location in Kolhapur, both projects started in same period (time) first client is South Indian is MD for a big & renowned foundry and second client is North Indian, chief accountant in central Government office both approached us in span of one week, both were having flat, in different apartment, and their requirement was same, but taste was different, so we accepted this challenge and started the basic drawing after the layout and elevation both clients were called at our office at different time, South Indian client is mechanical Engineer, so after going through concept and drawing he asked us to show colorelevation or 3D views, North Indian clients came with tab, he also studied the drawings after understanding concept then he showed some images on tab and asked us to start the work, both were having their own budget’s, so we started to do all detail drawing, and got approved from both of them, both clients work was challenge for us, when work was in progress South Indian clients called us, and asked to show our previous site, because he was not getting the idea of the material selection, so we visited one of our clients home, and hence the further work was completed. Whereas North Indian client, searched the finishing material in market and asked us to use the material which they have chosen for their flat, so after lot of deliberation’s we come with final selection and carried out the work, photograph it self show’s, the difference in taste of North Indian & South Indian, both work has their ownidentity, both project were small but for us it was like “Two States” two clients from different states and living in “Kolhapur” (A city in Maharashtra) and we made interior with understanding them and their requirement, both were happy, we did this photography of both projects on same day, after few day’s we shared the photosof both projects to both client and they were surprised, and appreciated work of each other.Forus it was different kind of experience. We have mention NI for north Indian and SI for south Indian under the photos, after watching photographs you will come to know the style of work is depend upon our client, designer has to design according to the clients living style.
