The Moat

The Moat Cottage The brief was to convert a small two bedroom cottage into a comfortable four bedroom family home. At ground level a large kitchen/dining room was created through the removal of existing kitchen cupboards. A large sun-room was added to the end of the house, to maximise the fantastic coastal views, and a spacious utility room created in the space beneath the first floor extension, which rests on the bed rock to the rear. The roof was raised, dormer windows added and a new first floor extension to the rear forming two new bedrooms and a new bathroom.
