Brief: A space that is an unwinding zone for not just members of the family but also guests who come over. The Work: A limited timeline of only four days, a previously gloomy balcony was to be transformed into a space where members of the family and guests would feel refreshed. The client wanted extravagance along the lines of rich Indian Heritage. And that is exactly what we brought. From hand-picking decor pieces across galleries and stores in Pune to bringing lush greenery to the space, we brought the best of resources for them. The result? The space with the incorporation of the right decor pieces, plants, and colors now looks like a piece from the colonial era.

In keeping with Grecor's philosophy of transforming the balcony into a functionally usable space, the balcony at Dwarka, Southwest Delhi becomes an extension of the living area. The living area now is a good 300 square feet, instead of 200 square feet earlier. The seamless space helps bring in the outdoors inside. The apartment living room now is brighter, vibrant and lively space full of greens. The makeover helps provide cleaner, purified cooler air inside as well as a decor that is easy on the eye. • Balcony The balcony, spanning across the dining area and one bedroom, is a tranquil oasis designed to bring nature closer to home. Fabricated jali panels line the perimeter, allowing for the hanging of small planters and creating a stunning vertical garden effect. The seating area features beautiful cane furniture, providing a cozy spot to relax and enjoy the outdoors. The flooring, adorned with a combination of wooden and grass patterns, along with pebbles in the border, adds to the natural ambiance. A designer console serves as the perfect platform for a water fountain, adding a soothing element to the space. This balcony offers a serene escape where one can unwind and connect with nature without leaving the comfort of home.
