The garden facing the bedroom was enclosed to create a private step-out that houses a custom-designed marble Jacuzzi. The walk-in closet and the ensuite bathroom, also enjoy views to the private garden, and are separated from the bedroom by an intricate brass art deco-inspired screen. The bathroom is clad in Statuario marble with a custom-designed vanity carved in a block of white Statuario with customised chrome fixtures. The shower sits as an insert adorned with a monochromatic marble inlay in a geometric pattern.

The courtyard in Navovado houses the swimming pool and provides a green private space to be enjoyed by all the residents of the house. The courtyard morphs in its use depending on the time of day and occasion. ⠀⠀

Creating a Spanish Hacienda, amidst the densely wooded site in Agarsure in Alibaug, Maharashtra was the client brief when he came to us with this project. The house has since evolved into a series of sloping cowl tiled roofs housing semi-private, semi-open spaces that attach themselves to each sequentially, adorned with vaulted ceilings, exposed bricks roofs, paneled doors and windows. Ornate wrought iron grills form the gateways for vistas into the internal courts and external landscaped grounds. Polished and river washed stones form the flooring in the public spaces, while different coloured IPS is used in the bedrooms and bathrooms to create a homogeneity of the floors and walls.

An elegant 10,000 sq.ft residence in Kuruppampady designed along a gently sloping terrain blends in effortlessly with its surrounding landscape. Accessed from the east along the lower side of the slope, the residence conceived in 2 levels spreads across xx cents of land. Surrounded by buildings on all 3 sides, the house is designed with delicately merging in the exteriors to its interiors without compromising the privacy of the client. The client's desire to not have a large imposing structure on site lead to the proposal of large sloping roofs for the built mass to considerably scale down the structure and to resolve it as part of the extended landscape. The house is oriented towards outside, with the main feature being its ‘openness to the surrounding landscape’ with almost all the rooms opening into the exterior greens and all the terraces converted to green roofs, the house is a beautiful manifestation of achieving inside - outside relation through design.
