13.) Positive and negative space. An example of positive space is the pictures on the wall because its decorating the wall.. An example of negative space is the floor and table, its not filled or really decorated at all.

this room creates positive space because of all the picture and how theyre placed on the wall, the light above the table is the right size and the centerpiece fits well.
