Where should you put your home theatre system?Home theatres come in a variety of formats; some require large rooms while others are suited for smaller ones. By establishing the exact location of your home theatre, you can decide what kind of system you should go for. Also, consider whether the room will be used for personal viewing or large gatherings. The latter may require you to carefully plan your layout, keeping viewing angles, viewing distance and other factors in mind.Get the right furniture for your home theatre on Houzz products

The longer it sits the more effective it will be in soaking up the stain and odours. After the area is mostly dried, spray the carpet with regular tap water. 2. Light out, style inIn addition to providing considerable control over the amount of light entering inside, these slatted blinds are a sleek and neat alternative to curtains. Venetian blinds, of any make, can add to the tastefulness of the decor with their refined look. In this home-theatre room, I love how the raw, natural look of the wooden blinds blends rusticity with a contemporary setting. The narrow opaque well-tied slats help in maintaining darkness in the daytime, if the room needs to be used then. What to Choose: Curtains or Blinds?

As screens against lightCurtains: Often need layered treatment A particular kind of curtain will filter light only in one particular way. For rooms that need multiple light-filtering preferences, layered curtain treatments (installing more than one treatment to a single window) need to be installed. This means added expense. Blinds: They control light wellVenetian blinds have slats, either horizontal or vertical, tied together on a single cord. The cord lets the slats tilt through various angles. These blinds can be adjusted to let in varying amounts of light or block it, according to need and the time of day.
