Shock Waves

Acyrlic Face Mounting is the process of mounting a photographic print between a sheet of acrylic and a dibond backing sheet. It has a quality crystal clear appearance and is sealed to prevent scratches, dirt, UV rays and early ageing. Colours look warmer, sharper, and shine. Features Overview Stays clear and won't yellow ~ Air tight and waterproof, ideal for bathrooms and kitchens ~ 100% transparent UV-resistant acrylic without air bubbles and dust Easy to hang using attached frame which also serves as spacer between picture and wall. Once hung it has the appearance of floating 2.5cm off the wall. Can be cleaned with soft, clean cloth. Dimensions: 66 x 73.5 x 2.5 cm Featured artwork - SHOCK WAVES Walking along the cliff tops in the south west coast of Portugal, watching the local fishermen risking their lives hanging over the edges of the cliffs to catch Seabass, I focussed on the lovely soft whites and blues of the crashing waves. I remember admiring the sea's beauty and the strength but also fearful of what might be if one of the precariously placed fishermen should loose their grip.
