Renaissance coffered ceiling

A classical Renaissance ceiling like the ones observed in the old Italian palaces. This coffered ceiling of impressive dimensions was done fully carving in cedar wood to create the coffered structures following the classical Renaissance rules of style and proportion. It was done for the library of a private mansion and the final result after varnish and polychrome was just delightful.
