This is the foyer from a 60 ranch traditional. We took the 8 ft ceilings and took it all the way to upstairs, making for a grand entrance feel. We took the old wood colonial balusters off and replaced the stair treads, and handrail with new ones and wrought iron balusters. Last but not least we added the wainscot all the way up to match the orignial.
