Private Residence in Pennsylvania

"There is room for improvement everywhere. In upscale Fox Chapel, a Victorian-style house has been changed into a Georgian estate...The new entrance's facade of red brick and white mortar has a close-to-the-ground Jeffersonian feeling. A white-painted Chinese Chippendale parapet railing echoes Monticello's as it links the house to the library wing. The wing has a separate entrance re calling the White House's covered cloister at the Rose Garden. The roof is gray slate. To the left of the entrance is an allee of poplar trees on axis with the library, leading to a newly landscaped lawn."
