Rethink traditional positionsThis is an interesting idea for a small-ish bathroom where you want both a bath and a shower. Here, building in a conventional cubicle would have been tricky without losing the bath, but by positioning a frameless screen strategically – enclosing both tub and shower – the space has been used extremely economically. Your floor in this context will almost certainly need to be fitted as it would do in a wet room, so ensure your contractor is tanking it and installing suitable floor drainage. Fit in a shower and bathProblem: There’s not enough space for the separate shower and bath you’ve always wanted. Solution: In this cleverly designed wash space, a wet room floor means there’s no need for a dedicated shower enclosure. Instead, the designers have installed a shower head next to the bath. A neat screen divides the space from the rest of the room, but the transparent glass keeps it looking airy.Bathtub vs Shower: Which is Right for Your Home?
