Prarie Modern in North Texas

This Landscape was designed to anchor the house, a Modern Prairie-style residence, designed by Kelly Davis with SALA Architects in Minneapolis, located north of Dallas-Ft Worth. With it's low slung profile, the landscape was designed to anchor the house to the land. Grasses, Yuccas, Mexican Plum, Cedar Elm and other native and adaptive plants relate to the prairie vocabulary. The Pool and Spa are centered on the outdoor living space with the infinity edge facing to the setting sun and small stock pond.
