Northgate Family Room
This mid-century modern was a full restoration back to this home's former glory. The vertical grain fir ceilings were reclaimed, refinished, and reinstalled. The floors were a special epoxy blend to imitate terrazzo floors that were so popular during this period. Reclaimed light fixtures, hardware, and appliances put the finishing touches on this remodel.

If we can afford it I'd love to incorporate some wood into the ceiling of main living area/kitchen.

I like the dar wood beadboard ---- might work in my bedroom or the kitchen. In the kitchen, would allow lighting to be installed and then covered with the beadboard. Doesn't need to be dark.
