Modest Modern

The idea of 'shifting planes' is articulated on the exterior as well as the interior. The facade is animated with a wide corrugated metal and various sizes of cement panels. The flat roofs are a single sheet of Durolast roofing. We worked with the watershed district to develop a stormwater management plan. Rain water from the front drains to the side, being collected in terraced rainwater basins. Photographer: Michael Huber
