Modern Warmth

Neutral yet rich—featured in Collection M, Manhattan door, the Amboyna Burl wood used for the predominant cabinetry finish in this kitchen is unique--it is an exotic wood (but also sustainable) most known for its use on the dash board of a Rolls Royce. The sink and cooktop areas are contrasted with Collection M, Manhattan in a black matte lacquer, while the combination of black granite and stainless steel countertops along with a rich walnut floor and creamy-yellow walls, complete a space that is both contemporary and warm. The stainless steel backsplash to the right of the cooktop does double-duty as an integrated appliance garage with ample room to house the owners frequently used small appliances. On the left, two refrigerator/freezers seamlessly join a pantry door that conceals a 5’ x 17’ walk-in pantry behind it. This hidden pantry allows for ample, accessible storage while the kitchen can remain a centerpiece.
