Modern Farm House Renovation

I like the black paneling on the kitchen island.

love the black cabinets with white counters-need a granite, not carrera marble. Our kitchen has no island, but a peninsula. could I do black bottoms with white tops for same effect? LOVE gold accents, but Mario not. What about glass with black metal box pendants strung high over island peninsula?
