The dining room is positioned directly next to the family room. So to make the rooms cohesive and help them feel larger we treated the wood accent wall in the same fashion.

I think these sconces are kind of cool in that they look a little different and they are colorful - basement stairs? I think I like the idea of them more than the actual piece - but I do like things that look like someone made them -
