What Houzz contributors are saying:
Reduce clutterThe foremost thing to keep in mind is to bring down the clutter. Discard things that no longer serve any purpose and always remember to keep your clothes folded, your shoes kept away and your accessories neatly arranged in shelves and cupboards. The messier a room, the more cramped and small it looks. Tip: If you want to maximise on the small space available, do away with as much furniture as possible and keep only the essentials, such as a table and chair, in the room. In this space, a transparent acrylic chair and a beige-toned table that merges with the colour of the furnishings add to the sense of a clutter-free space.
