The outdated blue tub in this guest bathroom could not be changed and desperately needed a mini update. The best solution was to incorporate blue in this room. I painted this blue inset on one wall and repeated the blue on the wall above the sink vanity. A hand painted scroll design was applied as a final touch. The photo does not capture the silver metallic highlights within the design The room now seems to have been originally planned that way. Bathroom Faux wall and art. Bath partial update. Installed new mahogany classic vanity, brushed nickel faucet and clear glass brushed nickel shower doors. Repainted mirror frame. Original beige tile and blue tub. Faux purple walls with two painted blue walls helped make this bathroom work. Purple drapes and towels were used as accents. Stool is recovered with a neutral fabric.
