A custom estate with Main house, Pool House, Art Studio, and detached garage. The stone and stucco house, reminiscent of rustic stone homes from the south of France, looks out onto the pool and yard on one side and inward to an enclosed courtyard on the other. Modern technology is hidden amongst the historic detailing as the whole house can be controlled by iPad's embedded in the walls or remotely on a phone.

"The wine room features traditional Moroccan Architectural shapes and are used in layers: U-shaped plaster passageways, built-in wood banquette with carved eight-point star detailing, wall of hand cut glazed Zilliji tile and pierced tin lanterns from the homeowners recent travels to Turkey, and further echoed in the geometric pillow fabrics and the contemporary Alhambra style painted cocktail table from Morocco."

My youngest client ever! I met this 4 year old's parents when they had me over to take a look at their on going living room project. After working on a couple of spaces in their West Loop building, they had come to know me and my work. We started, instead, with the daughters room. It was a total blank slate. They parents wanted something girly, but not pink, youthful but not toddler, and vintage but not traditional. I understood exactly what this room needed.
Calming neutrals also work well in the master bedroom. The vintage, Chinese chests were made into beautiful night stands.
