What Houzz contributors are saying:
The media wall is a focal point of the main family gathering space and is visible from many areas of this open plan house. An 18” deep bump-out was built to accommodate the television, speakers and wiring. This bump-out was then painted a contrasting colour that makes it as a focal point. The hallway to the left of the media wall contains a closet where the necessary audio/visual equipment is housed. Keeping the equipment nearby and remotely controlled makes the media wall’s design cleaner.
