"A Home of Love & Dreams" In the heart of Hyderabad, a beautifully designed duplex home stands as a testament to warmth and togetherness. The entrance garden welcomes you with open arms, leading into a cozy living room where a little girl plays, her laughter filling the space. The U-shaped kitchen, spacious and inviting, is where the mother prepares meals while the father sets the dining table, a silent ritual of love. As the family moves upstairs, the common area becomes their storytelling corner, a space for late-night giggles and weekend plans. In the kids' bedroom, a world of imagination unfolds—walls adorned with themes, toys neatly placed, and dreams taking flight. The master bedroom, with its elegant walk-in wardrobe and wooden flooring, offers the parents a peaceful retreat after a long day. This home isn't just a structure; it's a canvas of memories, where every corner whispers a story of love, laughter, and belonging. Captured beautifully by LKarts Photography, preserving the magic of home.

The magical light crawling into the living room brightens up the space by transforming the entire vibe, thus making light one of the most important elements to be considered in interior design of a space. Stepping into the interior spaces, one would land up in a spacious and a beaming living space to confront a large window alcove and an extensive white marble seating framed in a curvature. The idea was to create a band design comprising of a window seating ledge continuing as a TV alcove and further extending itself to become a shoe-rack. The monotony comes with fluted wooden storages below the seating detailed to look seamless, thus hiding the shelf doors.

The main doors open into the core theme of sustainability, royalty and functionality - right from the front door to the windows and small offsets that are a hallmark of Rajasthani architecture to the spacious, well-lit hallways which change color and hue as the sun moves in the horizon – an essence borrowed from Dravidian style. So, we, true to our motto of adding to Mother Nature, approached this interior refurbishing project based on space, light, ventilation and aesthetics. Now, you may ask, aren’t these common to most architecture? Well, you will be surprised to see how one is compromised in favor of the other. In our experience, we have seen aesthetics getting a walk-over over others. The Pooja room is a treat to behold. It is built out of reclaimed wooden pillars and recycled wooden fiber boards. The dome/Gopura made of mango wood is a spiritual reminiscent of Dravidian temple detailing. The backdrop is adorned with natural Rajastani stone motifs. A water spout flowing to the right forming a Brooke beneath the Pooja room, which is flanked by laterite stone native the Western Ghats treated to enhance the wetness, graciously offers a sense of divinity to the home. It is flanked by stone brought from Western Ghats treated to give a wet look.

It all started with this mural. A single wallpaper — elephants, domes, foliage — quietly framed in lime-plastered calm. From there, the entire home began to take shape. The living room from The Divine Raga Home — a space designed not to impress, but to feel. Muted tones, jute textures, brushed brass lighting, and natural daylight… every detail layered with care.
