4. Nano whiteNano white is a crystallised form of glass that is factory manufactured from a mixture of 75 per cent silica and other natural minerals.Nano white is very strong, durable, long-lasting, non-porous, maintenance-free and eco-friendly. It gives a luxurious high-end look and replicates the look of white marble.Nano white slabs are available in G3, G4 and G5 varieties. Nowadays only G5 nano white is used because it is milky white in colour and easy to cut. Note that the G3 and G4 series of nano white have black spots on them and they are very hard, which makes them very difficult to cut.
High cabinetsThe traditional rule book suggests that upper cabinets should ideally be placed 18 inches above the counter. However, by maintaining a greater distance, of 21 to 24 inches or more, you can visually open up your kitchen. While this system provides less easy-access storage space, it is suited for storing occasional-use items such as expensive porcelain, china and other crockery.
ConsIn nano white the joints are clearly visible. If glue is used for installing the nano glass it can discolour and turn yellowish over a period of time. Use clear resins to avoid this.Cost: Nano white starts at ₹400 per square foot. All costs are based on prices at the time of writing, in the year 2019.Read more:Kitchen Countertop Design: What Is a Waterfall Counter?Standard Height for Counters, Tables, Shelves, Lights and MoreTell us: Which kitchen countertop material would you choose for your kitchen and why? 6. Tab pullsThese pulls are for the minimalist who wants a bit more. They’re discreet but still functional. They can be done small on all cabinets or longer, running the full length of the cabinet door or drawer. What they do for the kitchenAdd a non-kitchen-y feel. They work well with Wood veneers and high-gloss painted finishes.
