Lānai Daybed (Wood Only)

Fabrication: 4-5 weeks Teak is often the best choice for outdoor applications as its high oil content makes it weather and critter resistant. While not the easiest wood to work with, it is well worth the effort. Roughly 8' long, our goal with this piece was to minimize its heaviness in the lānai space it would occupy. In this endeavor, we created two round legs made of painted marine grade plywood to lift & float the bed.
