This two-phase remodel, addition and landscape transformed this 1920’s home inside and out. Set within the Laurelhurst neighborhood of Seattle the owners wanted a relaxed family home that serves their current lifestyle yet preserves the quirks and charms of the original house. Our efforts focused primarily on expanding the kitchen, renovating the family, dining, entry, office, master suite and a major landscape redesign. We also added a cast-in-place concrete 2-car garage with a rooftop patio that is grounded in landscape and offers direct access to the family and dining rooms.
