a classically designed living room with cofferred ceiling, ocular (circle) windows and french doors with radius transoms. A fireplace with a traditional mantle sits nicely on a dark stained brazilian cherry hardwood floor.

I still definitely love white-ish walls and decor. Not bright white, except perhaps trim when the rooms are colored (like our bedrooms). In the dining room, the trim is the same color as the walls. The ceiling is white. I think the livingroom color will look nice in the there but I'm thinking we should just color the trim the same as the walls. Very elegant and modern - not as traditional. The drapes and curtains will be white, though, and will stand out against the wall color (as in the living room).
