The bathroom of this same home also uses cement tiles and poured cement walls. The slit on one side lets you enjoy sunlit textured walls and the sense of bathing outdoors.See more pictures of this house here

Pat yourself on the back if you have decided to use them as a skylight in your bathroom. They bring in a gorgeous amount of light and a connection to the outdoors as they do in this space by Architecture BRIO.

5. Skylight bathroomArchitecture BRIO makes the most of Alibaug’s open green landscape in this weekend home. With a stream running through the house, it is only natural that this holiday retreat takes advantage of the views and fresh air. To give the space a real outdoor and earthy sense, an open skylight and a pebble floor has been incorporated Bathing out in the open – you can’t get closer than that to nature.

Opt in for a ‘natural’ lookIf plants are not your thing, then there may be other ways of bringing in natural materials. Although wooden surfaces evoke the feeling of peace and warmth, it isn’t ideal in damp spaces. However, thanks to technology faux wood tiles are so realistic, it is near impossible to tell the difference. But if you still want the real thing, introducing stone surfaces, or pebbles can also emulate the spa decor. An added bonus, pebbles on the floor in the bath can give your feet an amazing massage while you shower.

I like the open space on the top. instead of conventional bathrooms, this gives the illusion of space and openness.although, the wall colour could be changed and a few plants near the pebbles would make it brighter.
