What Houzz contributors are saying:
Focus attentionVery minimal living room schemes need good lighting to make them feel atmospheric at night. Here, it’s been achieved masterfully, with a pendant light hung very low over the table to create a focus of the cosy seating area. The see-through shade will filter light throughout the room, so choosing a not-too-bright, warm-coloured bulb would be wise.
What Houzzers are commenting on:
This is so comfy- very hygge. The oversized throws, big, warm, fuzzy pillows, monochrome gallery wall with the gold accents, the modern light fixture and functional reading lamp. I want to cozy up with a good book here all day long! I might add some wallpaper on one wall or a boho rug to bring more color in.
I agree with the sentiment. I do love wood. again, I'd like to see more color, but I love the plants. in Denmark, all the planters seem to be white, and all the artwork is oil paintings, no posters. even if the paintings are UGLY they are really artists' works
