This project was located in the challenging Leichhardt Council Municipality where it presented itself with difficulties due to the orientation and the close proximity to the neighbours. The solar access to the neighbouring property was one of the main obstacles whereby the dynamic, angled design was adopted in order to achieve a successful approval through council. It also resulted in a rewarding rear facade for the owners. The integration from the old part of the house to the new was also an important aspect for both the client and council which has resulted in a harmonious blend throughout the home.
