Hawaiian Koa Hanging Light

I made this hanging light from a live edge slab of Hawaiian Koa. The grain and color on this one-of-a-kind piece of wood was incredible. I wanted to contrast the rich reds and purples of the wood by filling the hollow center with epoxy resin dyed an azure blue. Aqua blue wire cage pendents with globe Edison bulbs hang from burgundy cloth cords.
