Designing this light-filled nursery for my first child was a dream come true and every detail speaks to the hopes I have for him and the life I want to give him- filled with possibilities, space to find his true self, and the pure joyfulness of childhood.

We used neutral tones and timeless furniture pieces to create this warm and welcoming space for the newest addition to this family.
Birch tree branches, a wood log side table, tree decals and a birds nest textured pendant light all help layer this cozy room with rustic elements.

The goal of this nursery was to create a comfortable and stylish space for a baby boy without using the obvious blues. In addition to not sticking with the cliche color blue, we needed to make sure that the room was bright seeing as the climate has lots of grey weather most of the year. We decided to go with a gender neutral color of yellow. The mural was hand painted by an incredible Peruvian artist and the quilt which was hand made served as the inspiration for the room.
