Fitted wardrobe for bedroom in thatched cottage before painting

Fitted wardrobe in the timber framed bedroom, before painting. To save some cost without compromising any integrity of the hinging strength, the traditional painted steel butt hinges have been fitted to poplar wood frames and the first board of each door, and the first door boards have been glued with pva glue and biscuit joints to MR MDF, which has been vee-grooved on the fronts to give the tongue and groove cottage door look after they have been painted. These doors also have ledges on the back made from mdf for more support. The walls are exposed inside the wardrobe which is important in these types of houses so the frequent use of the wardrobes keeps air circulating to dry out any dampness.
