Anoli Shah, a celebrated fashion designer from Ahmedabad brings down a rich culture of
handcrafted fabrics and delicate embroideries.
To achieve the perfect look, most of the accessories and furniture were sourced from the
traditional markets of Ahmedabad. The brass scones, the antique patina door in the
reception area and the artwork on the walls will take you back in time with their ethnicity and quaintness.
Furniture was designed in neutral hues not to take away from the beautiful array of colours
Anoli uses for her designer wear. On the other hand the seating area is designed with a
deep crimson backdrop; accessorized with beautiful wood carved artwork and a plethora of
pendant lights that make the space classic and enchanting.
What Houzz contributors are saying:
A core palette holds the space together and brings a seamless overall look. Here, the ochre red serves as a unifying factor; it is the great equaliser in a room of mixed styles of decorative objects.Find an interior designer to help you with your home decor
1. Be eclectic Industrial-traditional need not be an oxymoron. Infuse an element of the industrial into a traditional setting. This group of metallic pendant lamps fit seamlessly into this ethnic space. Each piece is interesting in its own right and adds to the overall design. Suspending them at unequal lengths adds visual richness and volume to the space. The exposed cement ceiling and spotlights increase the industrial vibe of this mixed-décor room.
