What Houzz contributors are saying:
16. Firm: PraxisThis kitchen oozes contemporary charm with a portable breakfast table on wheels and barstools on both sides. The sleek design keeps the line of vision open and underscores the open-plan-living connection.
This large trolley with a wooden top functions as a kitchen island and a dining space, ensuring that this room is used as a multifunctional area. The owners can use this for keeping containers and cutlery and, at other times, for dining while enjoying the verdant views from the kitchen.
5. This tall breakfast table on wheels is made of wood and metal, giving one the flexibility to move it to other parts of the living room or even outside on pleasant days. The complementing barstools lined up on both sides keep the line of vision open and accentuate the connection between the living and dining spaces and the verandah outside.
A tall breakfast table with stools made of wood and metal shares the kitchen area with the teal unit. This table setup bears resemblance to the panelled roof over it. “The furniture is chosen by us. Some of the pieces are custom made, while others are sourced from various local vendors and dealers of antique furniture. There is some reclaimed furniture in the mix too,” says Menon.
