In order to accommodate a quiet dining experience, the dining room is separated from the kitchen by the main level’s powder room. The powder room is located like a boulder in a stream. To one side of the powder room a hallway leads from the circulation space into the dining room, and to the other side a butler’s bar connects the dining room to the kitchen. This butler area provides the hosts a quick exit into the kitchen to check on the next course and the opportunity to refill drinks upon returning to their guests. [photo by : emoMedia]
