This multi-residential project development consisted of new townhouses on a challenging site in the County of Santa Barbara.

Two distinct additions to the front of the house accommodate the new dining and bedroom spaces while their volumes are connected via an overhead pergola to create an external ‘sunroom’ deck from which the owners may enjoy the bushy front garden and engage with the neighbours.

Custom designed barndominium house plans

This charming ranch on the north fork of Long Island received a long overdo update. All the windows were replaced with more modern looking black framed Andersen casement windows. The front entry door and garage door compliment each other with the a column of horizontal windows. The Maibec siding really makes this house stand out while complimenting the natural surrounding. Finished with black gutters and leaders that compliment that offer function without taking away from the clean look of the new makeover. The front entry was given a streamlined entry with Timbertech decking and Viewrail railing. The rear deck, also Timbertech and Viewrail, include black lattice that finishes the rear deck with out detracting from the clean lines of this deck that spans the back of the house. The Viewrail provides the safety barrier needed without interfering with the amazing view of the water.

Rachel opted to replace her home’s worn-out energy inefficient siding with olive LP® SmartSide® prefinished in Diamond Kote®. This combination offers both attractiveness and reassurance, as the siding is backed by a 30-Year No Fade Warranty. the narrow profiles of Infinity® from Marvin windows allow for expanded views. In all, our craftsmen replaced ten windows in Rachel’s home.

These new homeowners fell in love with this home's location and size, but weren't thrilled about it's dated exterior. They approached us with the idea of turning this 1980's contemporary home into a Modern Farmhouse aesthetic, complete with white board and batten siding, a new front porch addition, a new roof deck addition, as well as enlarging the current garage. New windows throughout, new metal roofing, exposed rafter tails and new siding throughout completed the exterior renovation.

Three story modern farmhouse though located on the East Coast of Virginia combines Southern charm with a relaxing California vibe.
