Desert Star Construction
This limestone entrance way guarded on either side by beautiful potted plants and lit by iron sconces has a breathtaking old world vibe. Small details such as the desert foliage climbing the privacy wall and brick pathway only add to the natural beauty of this inviting outdoor area.
Chesney's
When Chesney's were approached to design and manufacture a limestone cantilevered staircase for the entrance hall of a new English country house, the brief was to create a focal point that was both graceful and impressive. We suggested a smooth soffit tread design which would lend itself well to a plain material such as limestone and would create a beautiful continuous curve to the underside of the staircase that could be appreciated from the Entrance Hall below.

Avvio Fine Homes
This grand foyer entry is from a custom home found in Toronto. The home was designed and built by Avvio Fine Homes and completed in 2018. It is open concept, adjoining the main hallway, living and dining rooms and stairs. The rich stained wood of the mahogany front door and red oak office doors, stairs and handrails, combined with the elegance of the porcelain tiles, wrought iron railings and wainscoting, provide a first impression that your guests won’t soon forget!

Addition was added to the modern high ceilinged house to make this art inspired space more liveable. Massive twenty-four light brushed nickel chandelier makes a bold statement. Wooden panel walls don't only warm up the modern space but also function as hidden storage.

WKD’s design specialty in quality historic preservation ensured that the integrity of this home’s interior and exterior architecture was kept intact. The design mission was to preserve, restore and renovate the home in a manner that celebrated its heritage, while recognizing and accommodating today’s lifestyle and technology. Drawing from the home’s original details, WKD re-designed a friendly entry (including the exterior landscape approach) and kitchen area, integrating it into the existing hearth room. We also created a new stair to the second floor, eliminating the small, steep winding stair. New colors, wallpaper, furnishings and lighting make for a family friendly, welcoming home.

Championing the Oikos security door, the Tekno’s greatest design feature is its unique, invisible hinge, which disappears when the door is closed. This piece is ideal for projects looking to combine aesthetic refinement and high security or fire safety standards. Fire rated at El30, El60, El90 and class 3 break-in resistant, Tekno is the perfect, security conscious, replacement for the unappealing, regulation fire-door.
