Dining Room

A unique accordion wood expanding dining table and Scandinavian chairs designed by Hans Wegner have great views of the San Francisco bay through clear glass guardrails of the deck outside. High vaulted ceilings reflect the home's ranch-style origins and Fleetwood sliding doors and operable windows complete the space.

GCB--This looks like sliding doors that are pretty possibly. Could be a good solution to the large windows downstairs and still remain pre-fab, rather than custom? GMB--Amazing doors, but again for a warmer climate? And surely very expensive ... and wouldn't be amenable to our LR plans? I love the ceiling, too.

The homeowners got the unique dining table from Propeller in San Francisco. Joined wood slats in the middle allow the table to lengthen without using a leaf. The dining chairs are midcentury Norwegian that were bought on eBay.
