Classic Living Room

This project was required to accommodate the growing needs and refined taste of an active family. After adding a media room they requested a formal living room in place of the original family room. Added structural columns create a grander entrance from the foyer and the cathedral ceiling was lowered with a coffered ceiling detail to create a more intimate space. Even though elegance was the first consideration, furnishings and materials were selected for durability. A custom bordered Berber carpet withstands traffic and is still the best vantage point for the dog to keep up with this busy family.
