For product inquiries, contact sales@gzid.co.uk. This luxurious bedroom was designed using many bespoke elements and and carefully chosen fabrics and finishes. The client wanted the room to feel like a sanctuary, and this achieved through the use of warm tones and beautifully tactile materials. The bespoke headboard was designed by Gemma Zimmerhansl to fit perfectly into the space. Most of the walls and the ceiling are finished in highly polished Venetian plaster in a lovely warm shade of off-white. One wall is covered with a beautiful metallic cork wallpaper. The antiqued mirrors and mirrors above the bedsides reflect much needed light in this part sub-terranean room. The curtains, bedding and cushions are all bespoke designs by Gemma, and the colour scheme of bronzy earth tones is contrasted with the teal blue cushions and other details, such as the borders on the curtains and bedspread. The large swivel sofa is upholstered in a chocolate velvet with metallic flecks. The silk rug adds to the feel of luxury under foot. The use foe hanging pendant lights above the bedside cabinets leaves the surfaces clear for accessories, books etc, and the light is bounced back into the room by the mirrors.
