Location: Salt Lake City, USAWhy we love itIf you adore the modern country look as much as we do, you’ll be sure to love this freestanding white oak vanity unit with its sweet silver-toned drawer pulls. Note how the timber picks up on one of the colours in the floor tiles – a nice touch from designers Studio McGee. - shivani_jain30

This three-story, 11,000-square-foot home showcases the highest levels of craftsmanship and design.
With shades of soft greys and linens, the interior of this home exemplifies sophistication and refinement. Dark ebony hardwood floors contrast with shades of white and walls of pale gray to create a striking aesthetic. The significant level of contrast between these ebony finishes and accents and the lighter fabrics and wall colors throughout contribute to the substantive character of the home. An eclectic mix of lighting with transitional to modern lines are found throughout the home. The kitchen features a custom-designed range hood and stainless Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances.

Tuck it into an alcove
A smart choice would be to convert an alcove into your own built-in makeup station. An area close to a window maximises the use of natural daylight. A small bench or seat that can be tucked in under the vanity table will help conserve a lot of space. Since the positioning of the mirror to the source of light can affect the way you put on your makeup, invest in a small concave mirror that aids with the finishing touches. - natasha9_c
