The Frontier Group; This two-level home takes full advantage of the site, with deep overhangs to keep out excess heat, and a staggered floor plan that blocks sunset glare. Large windows frame the 180-degree views. Outside, locally quarried drystack stone retaining walls, native landscape materials and an earthy color palette blend the house back into the mountainside. These materials contribute to efficient, cost effective design and construction.
