These clients' small yard had severe drainage issues, making it difficult for their large family to spend time outdoors. We worked with the clients to create several spaces in the small area that flowed together and met the family's needs. The modern-styled furniture spaces divided by flagstone pavers separated the spaces while an array of short plantings, Japanese maples, and Asian lantern decor introduced fluidity.

Now more than ever before we’re creating ways to stylishly disguise our TV’s, not wanting that big black box to overshadow our beautiful interiors. In this London home we have done just that. Stained walnut cabinets allow for this client to display their glass and ceramic collection and, what is more, the bespoke piece can be transformed by a sliding walnut screen to reveal the concealed television. | www.woodstockfurniture.co.uk

This lovely Regency building is in a magnificent setting with fabulous sea views. The Regents were influenced by Classical Greece as well as cultures from further afield including China, India and Egypt. Our brief was to preserve and cherish the original elements of the building, while making a feature of our client’s impressive art collection. Where items are fixed (such as the kitchen and bathrooms) we used traditional styles that are sympathetic to the Regency era. Where items are freestanding or easy to move, then we used contemporary furniture & fittings that complemented the artwork. The colours from the artwork inspired us to create a flow from one room to the next and each room was carefully considered for its’ use and it’s aspect. We commissioned some incredibly talented artisans to create bespoke mosaics, furniture and ceramic features which all made an amazing contribution to the building’s narrative. Large pieces of irregular shaped bluestone, with its organic feel is the material selected for the patio. Large bluestone slabs bridge the dry stream bed leading to the lawn and Tea House beyond. Hardscaping materials were chosen for there quiet appearance -bluestone, Aqua Blue boulders, and pea gravel with its gray and white neutral coloration.
