Asian Fusion Bath

Minneapolis designer, Brandi Hagen collaborated with a newly married couple on their Master Bath to seamlessly blend their modern aesthetic and antique Asian furniture. Evocative of a traditional Shoji screen, Brandi Hagen designed a large horizontal screen separating the marble bathtub from the vanities and dressing area. The screen is filled with Lumicor “Botanical Beach Grass” in a soft matte finish. The floor is sheathed in exotic Brazilian walnut. An antique Shinto cabinet placed just outside the shower was the inspiration for the cabinetry details at the vanity areas. Made of mahogany, the vanities are stained dark to complement the flooring. Warm tones of the Golden Siena Patika marble tub and shower are accented by polished Pistachio Onyx which is repeated as countertop material in this stunning Minneapolis bath design.
