Ark Gardens

This humble winter photograph was taken by owner and designer Chris Kolb. It features the gracefully contouring split rail wood fence that Chris installed during a blizzard. He insulated the ground at intervals with mulch in order to dig the holes for the posts. You can see Nantucket Sound in the distance. The client wanted a fence in keeping with the vernacular of Cockle Cove and South Chatham, a choice that is rustic and bucolic.
