The corner of a mahogany library became the cover page to a Morris county, NJ magazine featuring home libraries. The true mahogany wainscoting and chairrail created a welcoming space to sit and read or listen to music. Furniture and window treatments were custom added to create an old world look. Window treatments were fabricated from cashmere wool. The wallpaper and fabric valance are from the Ralph Lauren collection.

After raising their five children, these empty-nesters were ready to say goodbye to their outdated 1990’s master suite complete with blue laminate countertops, wall-to-wall carpeting (even in the bathroom) and brass Hollywood lighting. The couple looked forward to regular visits from their children and grandchildren, and wanted to create a warm, inviting master suite that they all could enjoy together. We teamed with general contractor Stanley Renovation and Design for the remodeling and custom cabinetry. The master suite was reconfigured to include a built-in entertainment center, a more comprehensive and stately bathroom vanity, adding character to the space with millwork and doors, and a spacious and bright shower for two. This lovely breakfast room, overlooking the garden, is an inviting place to start your day lingering over Sunday morning coffee. I had the walls painted in a soft coral, contrasting with various wood tones in the armoire, table and shades. It is all tied together by keeping the chair covers and rug light in color. The crystal chandelier is an unexpected element in a breakfast room, yet, your not compelled to pull out the china and silver.

Family room with a modern twist and still kid-friendly.

Ship-lap walls and sliding barn doors add a rustic flair to the kid-friendly recreational space.

This Farmhouse Style Napa cabin features vaulted ceilings and walls cladded with our patina pine, sourced from century-old barn boards with original weathering and saw marks. The wood used here was reclaimed from a Wisconsin dairy barn. Also incorporated in the design are nearly 2,000 board feet of our interior rough pine trim. Situated in the center of wine country, this cabin in the woods was designed by Wade Design Architects.

Built in 1940 and remodeled by us in 2016, this home features a classic layout filled with character. A vaulted tray ceiling in the master bedroom creates volume and expands the elegant details within the project. This three-story, 11,000-square-foot home showcases the highest levels of craftsmanship and design. With shades of soft greys and linens, the interior of this home exemplifies sophistication and refinement. Dark ebony hardwood floors contrast with shades of white and walls of pale gray to create a striking aesthetic. The significant level of contrast between these ebony finishes and accents and the lighter fabrics and wall colors throughout contribute to the substantive character of the home. An eclectic mix of lighting with transitional to modern lines are found throughout the home. The kitchen features a custom-designed range hood and stainless Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances.
