The structure of this custom bathroom vanity started as an antique chest owned by the homeowners. We changed the overall size of the cabinet and reinforced the inside with a new walnut interior, before topping it with a countertop made of Iroko. Iroko is an African hardwood, sometimes called “African Teak”. The powder room vanity sits on a stone base, which floats off the ground 12″ and is under-lit by LED lighting.
