A'round' the corner

Through this project, Limehouse Design Studio turned a 300 sq. ft. living room into an extraordinary configuration of interconnected spaces that all have warmth and elegance in common but lend distinct and dynamic design flavors to each space at the same time. As one enters the residence, an immaculate vertical corridor of white rustic wooden paneling underneath a vivacious picture gallery catches the eye. An innovative, stylish and larger than life circular partition not only guards the privacy of the family but acts as a multi-dimensional book shelf and comfortable and cool seating for visitors. Before commencing design work, the constrained layout with room and kitchen doors restricting the walls expanse was altered by carrying out minor civil variations to create well defined spaces and clean lines while meeting the clients’ requirement of an imaginative and efficient living space. Thereon, the living room was conceived as a cozy and functional private space incorporating a contemporary dining cum buffet spread table. Tailor made accessories with unique designs like the wall clock, hanging lights; multi-purpose coffee table and an array of lively throws create a fresh and lively milieu while finishes like white wooden paneling, colorful yet classy wall papers, focus and direct lighting, vibrant color schemes, smooth fabric textures and furnishings accentuate the design further. The design of this living room is not only clutter breaking and out of the box but equally functional complimenting the contemporary lifestyle of its occupants. ​​​​​​​​​​​​
