A Mendocino Fireplace

This fireplace in a beautiful oceanview home in Mendocino is covered with mosaics and tiny aspen leaves. Glass aspen leaves are custom colored and cut, and placed in various areas where the mosaic glass tiles were "popped"off. The slate running horizontally on the face of the fireplace is embedded with glass aspen leaves, cascading below and "falling" to the hearth where they're embedded in the large slate tiles.
